(Nearly) Dog Heaven

This is one of the most beautiful dog parks I have ever been in - huge area, lush grass, gorgeous surroundings. The walk on the mowed path through the meadow smelled heavenly, with waist-high wildflowers and wildlife vegetation. The dogs and I could have stayed for hours.

Negatives? Nearly non-existent signage to direct visitors where to park, or even where to walk to access the gated areas. No water available (perhaps a sign advising at the playground with a spigot and dog waterer?) No poop bags. No posted rules (Time-out or Time-To-Go, please scoop the poops, etc). a bit of a trek for older/physically disadvantaged pooches and humans (14 year old Lab was exhausted by the time we reached the car again).

Very Nice

Nice sized, beautifully maintained dog park. Sections for large and small dogs. Some agility equipment on both sides. There are many trails in the woods surrounding to take a walk with a leash dog. If you go, take water for your dog; Park does not have water available Super convenient location right off Hwy 460 Business.
