This is our second time staying at La Quinta by Wyndham VA Beach. The hotel is a perfect location to the beach and there are multiple restaurants within walking distance. Also, next door is a full size grocery store. There is plenty of areas to walk your dog around the hotel property and beyond. The only unadvertised downfall is parking is $15/night.

This hotel was an excellent, pet friendly spot. There was no additional pet fees, as stated. There was no issue leaving the dogs alone in the room. There is a large green space for bathroom walks. The hotel is located on a quiet street which allowed for longer walks easily. Regarding the hotel itself, the pool is not open and it has not been open for a year which was a surprise so if you are also interested in the pool, you may want to check to see if it is open before booking.
