The seating and service was prompt, and we were able to eat on the front porch with our two small dogs. The dog menu, although not published, was offered to us by our server. We got chicken and rice, one serving was plenty to split between our two, would certainly be enough for one large dog. It was served warm, and included spinach as well. They are both somewhat picky eaters and scarfed everything down quickly, including the quinoa, which I don't think they've ever had before. Our food (french onion soup, burger, and french dip sandwich) was less special, but passable, and portions were large. For drinks, my husband had a Catskill mule (same as a Moscow mule), which was perfect, served in a proper copper mug, and my local lager was delicious as well. We found parking on the main street, and were able to visit the antique shops nearby as well. There is also ample parking in a lot across the street.

My husband and I and our 2 small dogs stayed over Labor Day weekend and had a great time. The hotel is on a gorgeous property, including a walking path by the creek bordering the property, as well as a spacious dog run. It was very pet friendly; dogs are welcome everywhere on the grounds with the exception of inside the restaurant and the pool area, as to be expected. Treats and toys for them available in the lobby. Although be aware, no dog beds or bowls are provided. Bring your own. Also, no refrigerators are in the rooms but are available upon request. We called and asked for one prior to our arrival, and it was there, cold and ready for use.
Everything was wonderful, including the staff and service. The lobby, rec room, and all other facilities are super clean and well maintained. The outdoor pool, although heavily used all day long, was cleaned overnight with a robotic machine, and each morning was once again in pristine condition. We had a spacious balcony with Adirondack chairs overlooking the pool, which we enjoyed. Jennifer did a fantastic job cleaning our room before arrival and straightening up/freshening each day of our stay. Every request we had to the front desk or housekeeping, including a softer pillow, ice, extra tissues, was delivered promptly to our room.
The food and service at the restaurant, Babblers, was great as well, and the coffee, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches from the bakery were all delicious. The only issues we had were rather minor. Pillows were overly firm for us (but we did get a softer one upon request). Also, difficult to find trash bins on the property, although I believe this was because of bears, since it is in the mountains. Also, there is a beautiful pool table in the spacious rec room, but it was unplayable because all the pool cues are damaged, with no tips.

My husband and I and our 2 small dogs did the early Sat. AM tour. As soon as we arrived, they told us only 1 dog was permitted per cart, even tho they are both under 25 lbs. (Something that would have been great to know beforehand from the website or waiver. I read everything thoroughly before arriving.) Anyway, credit to the staff, they allowed us to bring both, with one in a backpack carrier I had stashed in the trunk of our car strapped to my chest. It was doable, but my arms ached afterward (along with my legs) from trying to keep my fur baby above my pedaling legs. Also, if your dog is at all nervous from the noise or vibration, they won't lay quietly between the seats, as designed. The trip itself was fun, mostly flat, though certainly a workout. Don't forget you are pedaling for 8 miles with little rest. However, the views along the creek were lovely, and the crew was friendly, making several attempts at keeping the guests in good humor along the way. Defintely worthwhile, but beware of the single dog policy, as well as the physical exertion required.

Outdoor area was very nice, and staff were super helpful and friendly. Food was kinda too salty, though, and dog bowls weren't freshly cleaned (we used our own). Also, kind of a pain, because you have to get up to go to the counter to order, and bus your own table. Not normally an issue but with dogs who try to follow you everywhere, it's not ideal to have to keep geeting up from the table. Gets them kinda antsy. Other than that, it's a good spot too hang out for the afternoon. We were there on the Saturday of July 4th weekend, and it was busy, but not crowded. No wait for a table.

We had a lovely July 4th lunch at Davidson's. Plenty of outdoor swating, and they were very accommodating with our two small pups, moving us too a shadier spot upon request. Food was delicious. I had a taco salad, my husband had a burger. No issues with either. Beer flights were great, too! Dogs got a complimentary bowl of water upon arrival, and we also ordered grilled chicken and scrambled eggs from the doggie menu, which were devoured immediately upon serving. Not a single complaint from anyone!

This hotel was a perfect gem discovered right here on BringFido. Although a historic hotel, our room, a king suite, was clean and modern, and our 2 small dogs felt comfortable right away. Great little municipal park right across the street couldn't be more convenient for taking the pups out for potty (but of course my little one had an accident in the lobby upon our arrival, since it was raining outside). I cleaned it up right away, but the staff never even said a word about it. Room service was also great for dining in with the pups. Food was high quality and delicious! Town is cute and very walkable, and plenty of restaurants nearby that accommodate dogs with outdoor dining. Parking lot was also conveniently adjacent. Loved everything about it and will definitely stay there again when we're in the area!
