Dog friendly to a degree

This beautiful campground (more of a RV resort) allows dogs and offer a nice dog park and “walking trail” which is just around the perimeter of the campground with doggie bag stations. We booked this particular campground because they offer on-site kayaking and canoe trips. However, staff warns it is not advised to bring dogs as alligators are attracted to dogs. Beautiful campground, many unexpected amenities, like full kitchen, but lots of weird rules (like age of camping equipment). Many of the staff are inhospitable. The facilities are nicely updated, the pool was not clear. Not family friendly.
