Clean, modern, comfortable. Great dog walks right out the front door.

Elsa was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and Elsa directed us to a great pet walk/park just up the road. I would definitely recommend. A direct road in is now closed so a minor detour is needed but nothing too inconvenient.

I have stayed at literally hundreds of pet-friendly hotels with a wide variety of companies. This hotel is comparable to rooms where I have paid $300/night plus! The value of $56 did not reflect in a “you get what you pay for” philosophy. Check-in, lobby, room, breakfast, all staff, were top notch.

the park is not huge but plenty big enough to play “chuck it” and then there is a path leading to a great riverside dog beach for an opportunity to cool down. other patrons were very friendly and all the dogs on this visit were friendly and playful.

I have stayed at this Best Western on 3 occasions now. The staff are always very friendly, the rooms are clean and quiet and the complimentary breakfast is really very good. (several hot breakfast choices along with the usual continental breakfast fare). In addition to the dedicated green space for doggy bathroom breaks on the property, there is also a community dog park with a river access beach just a 5 minute walk away. A final kudos is the welcoming package provided at check-in which included doggy bags, a biscuit and a coupon for a free dog wash at the towns Pet Value (Bosley’s) store.

The staff was very personable and helpful. I gave a 5 bone review based on the value for the money. Let’s face it, for this budget price, one shouldn’t expect high end accommodations. The carpet was worn but it was obviously vacuumed and the rest of the room was very clean. The towels were like new and the bed was very comfortable. The bedspread had some miles on it but it too was clean. The walls are all cinder block so the room was extremely quiet. I would stay again if looking for a cheap room for a quick overnight stay.

Previous reviews helped to find this hidden gem. Lots of room for my larger dog to romp. Thanks “bring Fido” for letting us know about this beach!

Staff were fantastic, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The sitting area off of the check in lobby is beautiful with a big screen tv and fireplace - very cosy. The complimentary breakfast was the typical but it was clean and well stocked. The rooms were not as top shelf as the common areas but certainly clean and adequate. Pool and fitness rooms were great as was the two large gas fire pits with chairs off of the pool area. Great dog run (small) but not often provided at other properties. It’s worth giving it a try👍
