Excellent Food, Friendly Staff
Azzurro Italian Oven & BarThe outdoor rooftop dining/bar area allows dogs to accompany you while you dine. We went for dinner on a chilly night. They have outdoor heaters going which was great (most other places we went did not have such accommodations). The entire staff not only welcomed, but loved our dog! They brought Sarge a water bowl to the table without us even having to ask. The food was fantastic! Most places that are dog friendly seem to be bars, and casual burger joints. This was a really nice change of pace from where we had been dining before coming here. Its a more classy restaurant and the food is great. Highly recommend for a date night with doggie.
Excellent!
Fort Adams State ParkWhat a great place for Fido! Plenty of open space (there are signs that say $100 fine for dogs off leash, but many dogs were off the leash running around). We walked the grounds before finding the visitor center which is tucked away all the way past the sailing school where you think you’re driving to nowhere! Beautiful views from all over the grounds. We were so happy to find out that Sarge was allowed to join us on our tour of the fort. The tour is definitely worth while! They take you inside the fort, through the living quarters, up on the roof, and even down on the tunnels. And dogs are allowed through the whole tour! It was great to be able to learn about the history of the fort all while tiring out our very energetic pup! A great time was had by all! Highly recommended!!
Excellent Experience
Gansett CruisesSarge had a great time on the boat. The crew was very dog friendly! Yes, the dogs aren’t allowed on the top deck, but we were still able to enjoy all the views from the main deck. The stairs to the top is more like a ladder, so it’s just not safe for a large dog to be climbing up, especially on a boat. The tour guide was very insightful and the views were excellent! We were very happy to be able to have our fur-child with us!
