Delicious and friendly!
Milk and Honey Cafe and Ice CreameryGreat ice cream and allowed our two doodles inside! Will return on our next trip up north.
Disgusting Property
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Detroit CantonWe would stay here again only if this was our only option. Hallways and our room smell like smoke and mildew. Towels smelled as well. We noticed that many people use this hotel as temporary housing. Would not recommend except that our dog was comfortable.
Perfect lunch!
Westside LocalWe loved our lunch at Westside Local. So friendly to our pup and the food is awesome!! We had been to this restaurant before without our dog and now that we know how friendly it is we will be frequent diners! We can’t wait until our next Westside Local meal.
Fantastic stay!
Le Méridien St Louis ClaytonWe had a fantastic stay with our Australian Labradoodle over Christmas. Room was small, but beautifully updated and modern. Bed was comfortable. Our pup loved looking out the floor to ceiling windows. Only downside is parking expense & no free overnight street parking.
Convenient Location
Best Western Discovery InnWe had a decent stay here. Rooms are “motel style” with doors to the outside which works well for our pup. Our room could have been cleaner, but I’m picky and it was okay for one night. All the pet rooms are on the freeway side and you can hear the traffic inside your room. They wouldn’t let us bring our pup into breakfast. Very nice fenced in dog area with grass, which was a huge perk for our Midwestern pup. We’ve stayed in 2 other hotels along this stretch of I-40 and they did not have suitable outdoor pet areas, so this was a big plus. Rooms have tile flooring, mini fridge, and microwave.
Excellent food and patio
Arcadia FarmsWe would definitely return to this restaurant. Excellent food, charming patio, lovely service, and very dog friendly!
Dog Paradise
Hotel El RanchoWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while traveling across I-40. I can’t imagine a more dog friendly place to stay! Our pooch was allowed in the ENTIRE hotel. Not just our room, but the indoor restaurant as well. He was just shy of 11 months during our stay. They we so kind even though he was a bit barky during dinner, so We decided to take our food to go and eat in our room to be polite to the other diners. A more nature dog would have been fine to stay! The next morning they were happy to see us again and wanted us to try again. Every employee was so kind and welcoming to us. We stayed in the Kirk Douglas room and it was a good size with plenty of space for a crate right next to the bed without being cramped. The only downside is that the sound proofing is minimal on the doors, so our pup could hear everyone who walked by and it made him an anxious sleeper. We plan on stopping here again on our way back home.
