Had lunch here. Too much traffic noise on the patio, lots of semis and stopping and going on the street right next to you. Food was just ok, nothing outstanding. They Did not have the chicken quarters ready yet so they subbed pulled chicken instead. Meat was all dry. Servers were nice but we likely won’t be back again.

About a year ago, they added a large covered patio with fans in back so plenty of shade there now. . Both times we ate here for a late lunch, we were the only ones back there. It is well protected from sidewalks and street traffic. Wednesdays is half price wings and they have a happy hour for drinks too in the afternoon. We were only there on weekdays so not sure if happy hour is on weekends. We loved the food, our dogs had bacon the first time and a burger patty the second time. The service was fantastic!

We ate here twice while camping near Silver City at City of Rocks campground. Had heaters on patio the first time. The second time, it was raining so they seated us in the game room inside. Great service and food, plus we enjoyed the cider brews they had on tap and hubby did a flight of different beers. The giant soft pretzel with green chili cheese sauce was so good! Servings are large size. Our dogs enjoyed a side of bacon.

We wanted to eat before getting to Amarillo and all the traffic. This was perfect. In a shopping mall lot so lots and f parking for us with campers. Server brought our dogs a pan of ice water. Our dogs enjoyed some chicken from our triple dipper. The house made southwest egg-rolls are to die for! So we’re the chicken strips and mushrooms. We shared a large piece of tiramisu for dessert which was delicious. They were out of the peach ice cream as it is really popular. Highly recommend. We will be back! Oh, they have a monthly beer special, different beers. When we visited, the special was Michelob Ultra 16 oz.

We enjoyed two yummy lunches during our stay in Eufaula at Captain John’s in August, 2025 on the patio. Plenty of space, fans, and great service. Our dogs liked the breeze and watching ducks and geese on the water below the deck. So did we!

We tried to go here. Website is no longer active. No answer to phone call. Restaurant was permanently closed and has a for sale sign in window.

Best place by far that we’ve stayed at with our dogs. Large well-kept dog park, great breakfast included in your stay, free on-site activities, and dogs can be left crated in the room when needed. Very friendly and helpful staff, welcoming to dogs and people alike.
