Bed bugs

Would have been an okay place to stay if I had not woken up at 1:30am to a bed bug crawling on my face. I took a picture of another bed bug that I found next to the motel key card to show the motel staff. The motel staff member seemed to play dumb, but there was a language barrier as English was not his first language so maybe I interpreted his response incorrectly. However, I googled this motel to find a review from 5 months ago about finding bed bugs in their room as well so I’m inclined to think that this is an issue they are fully aware of but have not addressed fully. I was offered to change rooms, but declined as bed bugs are often not limited to only one room. I opted to check out and sleep in a Walmart parking lot instead. I was not offered a refund either in full or partially which was disappointing. I was also doubled charged for the room and the pet fee though they seem to be attempting to refund the duplicate charges. I’m giving the motel 2 bones instead of 1 because the gentleman I interacted with was at least very pleasant and the room was in pretty decent shape other than the bugs.
