Mom to two fur babies. Remi is a 10 year old German wire haired pointer. And Pepper is a 3 month old Corgipoo. We enjoy traveling and being outdoors.

Yes you can bring your dog on the trail. Not the beach. And forget about trying to go during the summer. It's blazing hot on the nature trail with no shade trees due to the flat dry landscape. Our pup quickly ran out of steam and we left after only 10 minutes. Would not return unless it was much cooler out. You pay to enter the park so consider that too before going.

When you purchase an ice cream you can also get a free dog friendly one. Our pup did enjoy it and had no side effects.. So it was fine for her. However, in the summer it's hard to find a shady spot for them to enjoy it. There are a few tables but just so hot!

Amazing seafood. Amazing view of harbor. And awesome sand play area on the shore. Our pup entertained many people as we waited an hour for our table. This restaurant loves dogs. There are 3 outdoor patio areas to choose from which is where you will sit if you have a dog. There was live music when we went on Saturday. Although a long wait, the atmosphere was perfect for a family and dogs too. My kids enjoyed the sand, they even had a floating jumping pad for kids to enjoy too.
