We showed up to a dive behind a gas station & Denny’s, complete with vagrants, spaced out druggies, and dealers trolling and loitering the premises. The police were supposedly notified in order to rectify the situation, which was not. If the police ever did show up, they should also have had all the cars without disabled placards towed from the handicapped parking spaces while they were at it. We paid for a deluxe non-smoking room, but only received a standard room. When I took the matter up with staff, we were offered a deluxe room with cigarette smoke stench and dirty floors located directly adjacent to the drug dealer’s path and ensuing noise & security issues.

Staff informed us there were no other deluxe rooms available, so we were forced to move back into the original standard room, complete with Charles Manson-looking pot smoking psycho next door. Then, staff gave someone else keys to our room and we were rudely intruded upon by strangers barging into our room while we were in bed. Could have gone much worse, but the intruders retreated without further incident. We will NEVER stay at a Motel 6 again as a result of this experience. I’d rather drive all night to get home than sleep at a Motel 6.

an excellent experience! When we arrived on a Friday evening without reservations, we were promptly seated with our fur baby and treated very well by Nan and her staff. I had the mustard crusted salmon, wild king from the Columbia River, while she enjoyed the seafood gumbo. Both were delicious, and the presentation was very nice. Loki was made welcome as well, and given lots of the attention he deserves from staff and other clients alike.
