This was our first time taking the dog on this drive. All pullouts are dog friendly, some of the trails/beaches are too but mostly on leash. That was fine for ours as he is not yet an off leash dog. He loved walking on the trails we went on, especially by Spanish Bay Beach.

Found out our pup is a beach lover. Went here twice on our weekend trip. Lots of dogs both on and off leash, wide open sand, wasn’t too crowded even though it was a weekend.

Several spots outside at this coffee shop. I didn’t have any food but the latte was good and the outside area is big and clean.

Delicious food at this Triple-D visited restaurant. There are a few dog friendly tables but you may have a little bit of a wait. Food is really good and worth the wait.

Great courtyard to grab some lunch in downtown Carmel. Food is good and definitely dog friendly.
