Small But Kice

This park is really more of a canine pit stop than a “dog park.” It’s small but well-maintained. It”s a very useful spot when traveling with the pup.

Favorite Dog-Friendly Beach and Campground

Kohler-Andrae State Park

We discovered this beach/campground after first stopping at the nearby Harrington State Park and finding it a little disappointing. We decided to continue on the next park, and we’re glad we did! Kohler-Andrae has a beautiful dog beach and wooded areas. The campground is full of pines and birch and high on the dunes above scenic wetlands. We were so impressed that we went back two more times this year! Our dog loves it too!
