We stayed one night on our way down to the Bay Area. The hotel has a wing for dogs — the room was nice and they have a good sized lawn area with some amenities for the dogs. The restaurant and free breakfast was good.

Hopmonk Tavern is a great spot — lots of outdoor seating, signs that make it clear dogs are welcome, and of course good beer and food. Water bowls are scattered across the patio so you know they’re welcome.
