Gets busy on weekends and especially in good weather. Great cliff overlook with a view a couple miles north of the trailhead. Kind of annoying trying to navigate some of the scramble sections with a leashed dog. On a light day you can probably safely go off-leash for these sections.

Delicious wines (like really good) and charcuterie choices were equally delicious. Try the hot bread with fresh local cheeses. Super welcoming of our puppy.

My wife and I really enjoyed relaxing in the rocking chairs by the wood burning fireplace with our two pups. Their hot cider with pommeau was a perfect complement to the fire on the cold, rainy, winter night. Highly recommended. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to our puppies.
