We stopped in with our large dog for a late lunch. The service was great and they had lots of drink options on tap and cans. The club sandwich was really good. The clam chowder was good but not for us. We like ours with more potatoes and less clams and this was full of clams and light potatoes but the flavor profile was good, it was just preference. Our dog was welcomed and relaxed immediately. A good stop for a drink and a bite.

We rode the full route but you can get on and off when you want. Our dog is a large pit/lab mix and at first wasn’t sure about the rocking of the trolley as it traveled the rails but soon settled in. It is a tight fit so for larger dogs it can be a bit of a squeeze when people are getting on and off. It was $1 to ride of $2 for the day. It doesn’t run in the rain and has limited schedule so plan accordingly. The tour guides were great and filled you in on the interesting history of Astoria. The views were awesome and we got to see sea lions and many species of birds. It is a high step to get on and off trolley so if you have mobility issues it may be difficult.
We loved the idea of this place but the customer service is lacking and food was ok. if you have your pup with you seating is on the patio but there are lots of wasps, so many that our server had an anxiety attack when they wouldn’t leave her alone and then went inside. about 5 minutes later the guy who sat us and brought us our waters said we’d have another server soon. Finally got a different server after a long wait and was able to order but was never checked on, water refills or anything until the time for the check. The food was ok but wasn’t given knives for food clearly needing knives and couldn't locate anyone to get them. The positives are being able to sit outside, having a menu just for your pup but a $6 chicken breast or hamburger patty seems a bit much. They had a big variety of drinks but if you’re looking for more not the best spot.

We stopped by as we were visiting the area and they had lots of food choices. it was nice that they had a specific green area just for dogs and a separate one for humans. It’s picnic table seating so your pup can sit near you and enjoy as well. It’s a great option for when you want to dine out, can’t make up your mind and want to bring your pup with you.
