Again, great food under the large linden tree. Live music, good beer, water and bones for the dogs.

Flatrock Park is at one end of the Kerrville River Trail. Dogs on leash can share the wide concrete path along the Guadalupe River. almost no one there on a midweek afternoon in October. Keep an eye out for fast moving bicycles. Great walk.

Excellent food and great service. outdoor patio overlooking the creek. Patio with fans and some cover. The attentive staff has a dog bowl ready. the restaurant is in a historic converted gin.

There is a small area up front for relief. The floors are hard surface not carpet which is a plus for us. Good for a short overnight pass through.

This is one of our favorite passing through stops. it is close to the bypass so not a big detour for a superior rest stop. Walk in the woods or on more groomed paths with planted gardens. restrooms clean and staff friendly— the small entry fee is well worth it.

Staff was friendly. Easy access to area out back for dog relief on grass (bring your own poo bags). They allowed us late check out.
