Nice place, great prices
Kahoots Feed and PetCome to this location about once a month to get OTC pet meds. Very reasonably priced and nice store layout with pretty much anything you need for dogs and cats.

Gotta Try Them All!
Savagewood Brewing CompanyAwesome brew lineup! Local favorite and nice place to bring the pups to get out of the house. Regular mix of pups that go here are all pretty friendly and chill. They also have food vendors that rotate -Angry Pete's Pizza & Guamanian BBQ are both really good!

Poochie's Hooch Urban CideryReally fun place to visit on the way back from Mission Gorge. The Apple Sangria was my favorite. There were a few dogs in the place and they were all pretty chill.

Surfs Up Pup!
North BeachGreat spot for dogs to play and get fresh air. There’s a huge sand beach to run on and dig up, and lots of ocean to play in. Dog surfing is a common sight too!
Depending on the time and the season, there are some leash laws here, but it is very loosely enforced. Expect lots of pups off leash.
Parking could get congested in the summer months, but it’s not too bad in the off-season. Mostly metered parking along the HWY 101, but you can find some free parking if you're willing to walk a little ways.

Fun with lots of cool stuff to see
Los Penasquitos Canyon PreserveReally nice trails for short to longer walks (over 7 miles of trails). With numerous entrances, it's easy to get to from the I-15 & 805. Black Mountain Rd entrance has lots of parking by trail head and if that lot is full, there's a huge lot by the Adobe House (a pretty cool place to check out). A short hike can take you to small streams, some cool cacti, and you may see some wildlife (deer, rabbits, frogs). Take a bit of a longer trek and you can see a waterfall!
Dogs must be kept on a leash and there are some rattlesnakes on the trails. Keep an ear/eye out for mountain bikers & horses.
