We came here to walk over The Tridge and kept walking to visit the dog park. Excellent grass park with many exercise objects. The walk here was beautiful over the Tridge, but very long (glad we had a doggie stroller). There is closer parking if you don't park right at The Tridge. Great stopover on the way to Northern Michigan.

We will definitely return the next time we come through. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and staff was very welcoming.

Our room was very clean and well maintained, as was the whole property. The hotel has 2 floors and is spread out. If you or your older dog has mobility issues, a 2nd floor room can be challenging. We stayed 5 nights and were given a room on the 2nd floor as far away from all doors as possible. It made going for walks more difficult than usual.

Definitely would return. The room was extremely clean, the evening staff was very welcoming and the location of the room was convenient to the door and parking lot. Many take-out food options in the area as well.
