Dawn
I have two wonderful cats (Isis and Tut) and a beautiful Bernedoodle named Nuby (Anubis Ray)! We are traveling from East Coast to West Coast this summer together and we need to know pet friendly places to go! Thanks!

Wonderful food, nice patio
Soul Fish CafeIt seems to be hard to find restaurants in Memphis that will let you bring in your dog, even the ones with patios. This was a great find and the food is delicious! Our pup was welcomed and there is plenty of room to spread out between tables. Po’ boys are HUUUuuge and wonderful. be sure to try the house-made hot sauce. it’s tasty and just the right level of spicy. They were very accommodating of our dog. There are several locations of this restaurant in Memphis - we were at the Germantown one. Can’t speak for the others, but this one is fabulous!
Nice and relaxed
Gabriel'sVery cute place that has been around for more than 40 years. Food was pretty good and seemed authentic. Wait staff was friendly and tolerant of our pooch. Some of the other diners on the patio seemed not to like that we had dog with us but he is well-behaved and sweet and so I think he won them over. Restaurant is a little outside of downtown. I would recommend going at ‘off’ times in the day/night.
Great scenery and fun for all
South Fork State Recreation AreaThis is a beautiful recreation area and several nice short hiking trails that you can take your canine friend on. make sure you get there in time for sunset. Grills and campfire rings available. Can do tent camping or RV. Best side is East Side - the first one you come to. It has showers and campsites are first come, first served for now so get there early to stake a space. In 2023 they are going to start a reservation system. Our doggie liked it but you do have to keep on leash at all times and there are a lot of burrs in the plants. Highly recommended.
