I'm not sure what’s going on here but this property is really run down. No friendly greeting, broken side entrance doors, dirty windows, ripped screens, pool was green with algae and closed, trash and weeds all over parking lot. The area doesn’t seem inviting and I just couldn’t get over the neglected grounds. Room was “ok” but dated, with shabby window coverings and an old-school chipped enamel bathtub and wonky shower head. No dog amenities but some brown grass within walking distance. We were happy to escape. Lesson learned… better to pay a few extra dollars to stay somewhere else.

Retro in a good way, this Route 66 hotel has roomy rooms, an excellent pool and a good sized, fully fenced dog area. Some thoughtful perks are offered and there’s a pretty good Mexican take-out restaurant right on the property. Plenty of outside seating, fire pits, games, etc. Recommend!

We got a large room that was clean and comfortable close to a side exit door which made it easy with our big pup. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Plenty of places to walk. Dog relief area with poo bags too! Would definitely stay here again.

We didn’t find any dog-specific amenities but our room was nice and big and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of space outside for doggy walks. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice newer hotel in a good part of Barstow. We got a nice big room right next to an exit door. Clean and comfortable and plenty of space for the big pup.

Have stayed here several times, with and without my dog. It’s a well-maintained, old-style Route 66 motel with a few special extra touches. (You’ll have to see for yourself.) Rooms are retro in a good way and clean and comfortable for dogs and their humans And there’s a nice grassy relief area for the pups. It’s a gem and it’s our favorite place to say on our drives between Texas and California!

I recently spent a night here with my canine traveling companion. What a sweet stay! The room was so comfortable and cozy and very clean. Plenty of grassy areas for my pup. The owners are very nice and really take good care of the property.
