Look for the sticker that designates a pet-friendly cabin on the window. Free to ride! At its core, the free gondola is transportation, meant to provide a simple and clean commuting option. All the electricity used to operate the Gondola is provided by wind and solar power. The cabins serve as lifts for skiers & snowboarders, mountain bikers, hikers, and tourists and locals alike.       Pooches first gondola ride!

      They were a bit nervous at first, but settled in right away. Not sure they enjoyed the stunning views as much as we did 😉

      Spectacular views

      Our pup was a little apprehensive as there is a lot of bumping and grinding as the gondola takes off, but once off it’s smooth soaring. The views are spectacular and a highlight of visiting Telluride.

      The gondolas with paw prints on the side allow dogs, every other one.

      A Little Scary At First...

      LOVE the gondola! Our pups were a bit suspicious the first few rides but now know it takes them to fun hikes and restaurants! Nice not needing a car.

      We took this on our last day in Telluride, but really wished we would have done it every single day. Fido loved it! There are several dog- friendly cabins and it’s just so adorable and convenient. Gorgeous views and plentiful parking!

      GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!

      At the Welcome Center they have great dog friendly activities! The Gondola was so fun! Never even thought they would let my little fluffy man enjoy it! They allowed my mom with her dog and myself with mine, in our own. Was a great time! Great little shops on the other side were we enjoyed a beverage for all!!!!
