Great park!
Dog Park at Quail Run ParkLots of area for running! It’s huge and well lit at night. Various buckets of water around for the dogs and a fountain at the entrance.
Good pregame spot
Stronghouse Brew PubBeers were great! We didn’t eat food here, so I can’t speak to the food. I felt like it was a very small area that dogs were allowed at and there were no water bowls offered. The staff were nice to us but pretty much ignored the dogs.
Amazing food & dog friendly staff
Smuggler Union Brewery & RestaurantFood and cocktails were so good! I will say the restaurant is very expensive. We used it as our special night out in Telluride. The pup loved it too and the staff were very dog accommodating on the patio.
Good food, better scenery!
Spoons Bistro & BakeryFood was good, there is no wait staff so definitely plan for someone to wait at the table with the dog while the other one orders. The patio is very beautiful and grass well maintained! BYOPB (bring your own poop bags).
An ok walk
James M. Robb - Colorado River State ParkWent here expecting there to be at least one area where my dog could be off leash and in the water! But there’s apparently toxic algae that kills your dog (and you too). Don’t go expecting anything more than a walk, and there’s not much shade either so bring water! It was also 4 dollars to walk in for me and my dog.
