    A Mickey First

Our Lil guy enjoyed his first train ride so much we're going to take it again before we leave. The narration along with the views were a big plus. All in all, a pleasant experience for the whole family.

    Unpleasant experience

This MDW we booked tickets for the afternoon train ride that had a duration of 1 hour. It was unseasonably sweltering hot that day but we still decided to go because of all the good reviews on here. When we got to the ticket counter they did not give us a dog ticket which was disappointing. Upon having our tickets checked while entering the train car we were told our pup is not allowed on the seat or near the window. Once we entered the train car the heat was unbearable, and to our surprise there was no ventilation, a/c, fans, or working widow locks to hold the windows open and allow a breeze to come in. We sincerely regretted not getting off the train and getting a refund. We were propping the window open with our arms so our pup could get some air, but the windows were extremely heavy and it was actually painful to do for more than a minute. Upon trying to move into another train car with working window locks we were told dogs were not allowed there, and we had to return to the sweltering hot train car. It genuinely felt unsafe and our pup was overheated the whole time. Had we been given all this information prior to the ride we would have just cancelled. I absolutely do not recommend this if the weather is even slightly hot!!

    Only dogs under 20 lbs!

Apparently they've changed the rules and now only accept dogs under 20 lbs.

    Good family trip

We took our pup and 2 little kids on the 1 hour tour. There were a bunch of other dogs on the train as well. We forgot about the train whistle but our dog got use to the noise quickly

    So Fun!

Took a ride with our 9yr old beagle- very nice and fun. The staff especially loved seeing dogs on the train! There were three others that day as well- ranging in sizes. Beautiful in the fall!

    Fun for the pup

We rode in the open car with our pup (20 months) and she was great. The staff was friendly and she got her own tickets (no charge for dogs). We took the short trip - not that scenic but a perfect length for her first time. They stop for about 10 minutes to turn the loco around and that gave our pup some time to take a quick walk.

    So Fun!

We have visited North Conway many times before and have never had the chance to ride the railway. After finding out that they are dog friendly (coach trains only), there was nothing stopping us. We did the short 55 min ride bc we did not know how our pup would react but she was great! A fun activity for the family when visiting town.

    Best day!

We had a fantastic time riding the train with Toby and Mollie. They looked out the windows and smiled the entire ride. The conductor was super nice to them and made a point to talk to them and give them a pet or two. I would definitely recommend .
