    Most dog-friendly national park!

This is the most dog-friendly national park we’ve been too! dogs can go pretty much everywhere except inside buildings. Chanel became a Bark Ranger and got her certificate! The park ranger even gave us some poop bags and dog treats. Humans and pup really enjoyed our visit!

    Quick Stop of I-40

We missed the Holbrook dog park so decided to stop at this national park. to our surprise they had two dog parks (for small and big sizes)! We thought we were only going to be able to walk on leash, but got a good run in! Covered in snow so the clay dirt wasn’t a problem. Stopped by the visitor center for the BARK certificate! Will go back when we have time to see the park!

    Dog friendly national park

Its known as one of the most dog friendly national parks. Allowed on trails which is rare especially in Midwest National Parks.
They have B.A.R.K Ranger program too and even have treats for the pups. Wish we had more time to spend there.

    Awesome

The PNF is very dog friendly. Both our dogs loved the trails and even earned their BARK ranger badge. We are from the east cost and our dogs did not like the hot sand. we had them were dog boots which they did not mind and really helped with the paws and allowed them to go all over the PNF with no problem. Really neat park and was not that crowed. Loved it!!!

So Dog Friendly For A NP

We stopped at the PFNP on our drive cross country. This park so pet friendly which is so awesome considering most NPs are not. We enjoyed the sights and trails with Juneau. Make sure to grab your Bark Ranger tag at the visitor center!

    Beautiful and SO Dog Friendly

This is an awesome national park and even more amazing that it is so dog friendly! Our pup was able to go on all the main trials with us and loved it! The rangers there are very dog friendly. Don’t forget to have your dog become a bark ranger at the visitor center!

    Epic Road trip

Had a wonderful visit to this park with our German Shepherd, Nikita. Their BARK Ranger program should be done in every National Park! We were able to walk her on trails and overlooks. This was the most dog friendly NP we visited on our road trip of 5 NPs in this area.

    Amazing area

I made a last minute decision to stop over and I'm glad I did. It was an incredible drive with multiple stopping points to take in the natural beauty. We didn't do any trails because it was too hot on Scout's feet but I got a couple of pictures before it became to miserable for her. I continued to get out at each stop. It's truly a unique and beautiful area! No dog issues (other than heat) as long as they are leashed.

    Pretty site

We took our dog here with us on Dec 2011. It had snowed that time we visted and was very pretty. I'm sure you have to keep your dog on the leash at all times, I did. Anyways, it's cool to learn the history about it all...
