It's a nice canyon trail with lots of shade and greenery, even at the start of August in drought. Parking was easy. There's a trash can at the start but I didn't see water or toilets.
Watch out for poison oak right along the trail -- don't rub against and keep your dogs off it or you'll be itchy!
The trail was quiet on a warm Sunday afternoon -- just a few bikes and dog walkers (all dogs I saw were on-leash).

I live close to this canyon so I go there often with my dogs. Watch the parking signs. It's pretty shady here even on the sunniest hottest days.
Best times to go are M-F as this trail is popular for hikers and cyclists on the weekends.
