We had a fabulous time! The shuttles weren’t running so we explored the entire park with our pups! There were so many places they could go! But if the shuttles are running there is still lots to see by the visitor center where the dogs can go and a long trail with 3 bridges across the way from
The visitor center follow the signs. The water has algae not good for the pups right now so had to be careful by the river to not let the pups get their faces in. The trail was long and gorgeous views! They also started a BARK program so get your pups a book and get it stamped! This time of year was perfect! March! - AnyaSep 7, 2022A loop hole
I expected this to be a short stop on my way to the red cliffs near by, however me and my dog ended up spending the whole day there. In the rules it says they have to stay on paved paths, turns out there are plenty of paved paths that go through the park, and there’s room on the side to walk, many people walk or bike the side of the road. I think in total me and my dog walked 13 miles to the Zion lodge and back (though we could have gone further if we had the energy), it was a very beautiful walk/hike. I would do it again, and I felt I had a fantastic experience even though there were no trails we were allowed on (with the exception of pa’rus trail, also very beautiful). if you’re dead set on going to the trails with your pup then I wouldn’t recommend, but if you just want to experience Zion, and take it in I would recommend and you’ll be satisfied with the paved paths.

this is not a spot I would recommend bringing dogs. there is no parking, so you’re supposed to shuttle to the park, but the shuttle doesn’t allow dogs. once inside of the park, absolutely no parking, so the dogs couldn’t even get out of the car. nice park, but I wouldn’t bring dogs.

Park is nice but very little parking. You can park outside the park in town but it was $20. Our dog had limited access so this was not one of our favorite stops along our road trip route. Also since dogs are not allowed on shuttle you cannot visit one whole section of the park only accessed by shuttle. I understand the reason for the shuttle but I feel they should allow dogs.
