not dog friendly
Zion National Parkthis is not a spot I would recommend bringing dogs. there is no parking, so you’re supposed to shuttle to the park, but the shuttle doesn’t allow dogs. once inside of the park, absolutely no parking, so the dogs couldn’t even get out of the car. nice park, but I wouldn’t bring dogs.
good park
Thorpe Bark Parkgood park to stop at when traveling. nothing crazy, but good amount of space for the dogs to run. well kept, agility equipment, and toys. dogs loved the break from the car.
great park!
Estes Valley Dog Parkthis is a great park! separate fenced in areas with a good amount of space for the dogs to run. also has a separate fenced you can open to let the dogs swim in the little lake/pond. dogs loved it!! water was very clean.
best park ever!
White Sands National Parkthis was a very pretty spot and cool for the dogs. the park is huge so you can easily spread out from people. like others have said, bring plenty of water. the dogs had so much fun!
nice park
Bark Park Dog Parknice park to let the dogs stretch their legs after some time in the car. nothing spectacular, but a nice park.
fun stop
PistachioLandthis was a fun stop while in town. they were very dog friendly, dogs could go inside the shop to while you sample wine and pistachios. also they were allowed on the tour around the vineyard/tree farm. everyone was very nice and happy that we had dogs there.
good food/beer
Red Door Brewing Company - Downtownfirst of all let me say the food and beer is awesome!
lastly, it is on a very busy street, went on a Sunday night and I would not feel comfortable with my dogs on the busy road, they would not have been happy or relaxed. it was very loud and a lot going on for a dog to take in. the back patio is very nice and mostly quiet. but knowing the location beforehand, I would of probably chose somewhere else.
great spot!
Beck Lake Bark Parkgood size dog park for the dogs to run around, also has access to the lake. the dogs loved swimming and running around before a day in the car at Yellowstone.
awesome spot!
Cherry Creek State Park Dog Off-Leash Area (DOLA)this place is HUGE. I wasn’t expecting this much space for the dogs to run, it was amazing! once you get to the creek, that part is not fenced in, which is posted on signs. you can easily keep your dog at the front part which is still a lot of space for them to run. worth the trip, and worth the $13/$14 day price.
LOVE!
Bear Creek Dog Parkthis is an amazing dog park! it’s gigantic and all fenced in. there is a creek for them to play in, hills to run on, many things to do. they also have restrooms for the humans. and it is all free! lots and lots of space for the dogs to run! 10/10!
perfect dog friendly place!
Longs Peak Pubwent here for dinner, and the staff was amazing. brought our dogs a bowl of water, and kept them filled up. they were very friendly and excited about dogs being there (which isn’t always the case). loved the food! and all around a good place to eat/drink!
