Pappajohn Sculpture Park

Featuring artwork by twenty-two of the world's most celebrated artists, Pappajohn Sculpture Park is dog-friendly! Leashed dogs are welcome to explore the 4.4-acre park, located in downtown Des Moines. The Sculpture Park is open from sunrise to midnight, and an audio tour is available online or via phone at (515) 657-8264. Picnicking is allowed in the park, and humans should be sure to keep food and drink away from the works of art and dispose of waste in the trash cans on the perimeter of the Park.     Fun Place

    Very nice park with some interesting sculptures.

    A great place to walk

    A smaller park, but allows you to distance yourself from others if your dog is a little reactive. We love bringing our pup here if we're exploring the downtown area. Our pup loves the smells, and we enjoy the art.
