    Pappajohn Sculpture Park

    Featuring artwork by over two dozen of the world's most celebrated artists, Pappajohn Sculpture Park is pet friendly. Leashed dogs are welcome to explore the 4.4-acre park located in downtown Des Moines, and an audio tour is available on the Des Moines Art Center website. Picnicking is allowed in the park, but humans should be sure to keep food and drink away from the works of art and dispose of waste in the trash cans. Visit Website

      Fun to see and educate while dog gets to walk.

      Nice place to stretch

      nice little park with easy parking around the perimeter. Dogs & humans enjoyed stretching their legs on our road trip. Beautiful setting.

      Very nice park with some interesting sculptures.

      A great place to walk

      A smaller park, but allows you to distance yourself from others if your dog is a little reactive. We love bringing our pup here if we're exploring the downtown area. Our pup loves the smells, and we enjoy the art.
