First State Heritage Park
Leashed dogs are welcome at First State Heritage Park, a pet-friendly park where you can discover the history of Delaware's capital city of Dover. Described as a park without boundaries, this sprawling urban park connects historic and cultural sites. You can wander with Fido and take in the sights of historic buildings including John Bell House and the Old State House. Interpreters dressed in Revolutionary-era attire can be found throughout the park and will give insight into a bygone era.
