Dogs are welcome at Little Talbot Island State Park, one of Florida's last remaining undeveloped barrier islands. You can bring Fido with you to enjoy the nature trails, hiking trails, paved roads, parking lots, campground, pavilions, and picnic areas. One of the most popular trails is the Dune Ridge Trail Loop, winding four miles through dunes and marshes. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on beaches or in the waters around the island. This rule is to protect the wildlife in the area. The fee for entrance into the park is $5 per vehicle. Little Talbot Island State Park is open every day of the week from 8am until sunset.
