    Nice walk

Great place to take the dogs on a nice walk. We did the 1 Mile hike. They have a honor pay system, so bring a few dollars!

    Boardwalk Trail

Nice boardwalk trail that takes you out to the overlook of the water. Very peaceful. Quick walk, about a mile round trip.

    Nice Little Walk

Pleasant place to stretch legs. Raised wooden boardwalk leading to an overlook by the water with a bit of a breeze. Would not go out of the way to come here but we ate nearby and was a quick 6 minute drive. Recommend going early in the morning. Extremely hot and a bit stifling in the sun. Shade intermittent.

    Neat boardwalk trail

We did the short loop (1 mile) because it was already quite warm. some really pretty plants along the trail, but we didn’t see any wildlife. Bring plenty of water for your stand pups as there was nowhere to fill bowls there.

    Nice Trail

We unfortunately came a little later in the day so it was a little warmer. We decided not to push our 3 babies too much and turned back half ways. I waited in the car with the fur babies as my husband and niece finished the walk. They say it was beautiful. Lots of people bring there dogs to this area and today 7/30/19 everyone turned back as they didn’t want the fur babies to overheat. Maybe next time I’m in Florida I will give it a try. They do have waste bags available at the entrance in case you forget yours.

    Beautiful Scenery

We went mid-day on a Sunday and it was lovely. Mostly shaded, just one mile on the short loop

Nice walk for you and your dog

Comfortable boardwalk to serene lake. Vegetation identifiers. No wildlife seen on our visit, but you never know--bear spray is advised.
