From about mid-way down the park looking back at the entrance, you can see the double gate entry system and the playground just behind it. This center in full has a big field area for games, basketball courts, event shelters, kid's playground, and the dog walk section. As you may have read, parking it really tough here as it is pure residential. Parallel parking is the only option and I imagine on the weekends it is slim to none.
This view is across the park from the picnic tables located along once side under shade trees. The field for sports recreation is across the fence. There were four or five dogs here when we went and the owners were wonderful to chqt with while our buddies ran, tumbled, and got all kinda of dirty and sweaty. My 4-month old Lab Puppy, PJ, had the time of his life!
Leena and Sheldon Beagle loved their first visit to this dog park. It is a bit of a drive for us and most likely will only visit on Wednesdays when our regular park closer to home is open but there are some nice dogs that come to this park and very responsible pet owners who pick up. Only concern was the deep holes that our little dogs can be hurt in and the fact that was not sure if the front area was a dog park. Did not see any signs that separate big and small dog sides and all dogs were on the one side today
One view of the dog recreation area at the Dog Park at Palma Ceia Park. Fresh water is available for pet drinking and rinsing...which you may have to as there is a LOT OF DIRT here. There are balls and toys all over the place for the pets, as well as a double-gated entrance/exit to prevent unintended escapes! My pup, PJ and I had a GREAT TIME at this dog part!
