Nice features but too many burrs and single gated

On first impression, the entry is single gated, but luckily, the dogs really don't form a "welcoming committee" here, so that was only a minor drawback.

It's a very spacious park. There are human facilities there, in case you stay a while. There's a walking trail that people tend to follow.

There's a pond, which will help the dogs with the heat. Bring a towel!

There's also a tall grass area. My dog enjoyed it! However, when she got out of it, her face and legs were covered in burrs. It took me at least an hour to brush and pick them out of her wavy fur that curls when wet.

    Lots of space

Completely fenced with walking trail around, bathrooms for people and water station for both. Lots of open space to run or play ball.

    The Best Dog Park

We love this dog dog park. My husband and I have been bringing our two large dogs here for two years now and it is the best. there is plenty of room for people and dogs. Our dogs love the pond and the space to run!

    My dog loves this place

Tons of room for dogs to play and run around. My dog loves to explore the tall grass and weave in and out of the trees. there’s a small pond type area in the middle of the park for dogs to swim. it’s not super clean so be prepared to give your dog a bath later. Pretty clean as far as dog poop on the path.

    One of my Faves

I love this park. It has tons of space and has a great natural look so you feel more like you're hiking. Only downside is they don't have a double gate so I keep my dog away from the entrance (she's a bolter) and it kind of far from my house, but worth the drive.

    Great place to stop

This park is a good place to stop when travelling on I-35.
It is large and open with a small lake. It also has real bathrooms for the owner - a real plus! Heritage Park is very large and the easiest access to the dog park is off Lackman Rd/Black Bob.

    best dog park

This is the best dog park I have ever been too. Very open. I can let the dogs go and have fun but always know where they are at. The people are very friendly. Can get muddy after a rain or snow so wear boots. My dogs are exhausted after a visit. Win for the whole family.

    nice park

This parks was very nice and well maintained. Also met several very friendly local dog owners that helped with additional information on surrounding venues.
