  Great dog park!

  My dog loves coming here to play and run! Being members only means all the dogs are vaccinated so I don’t have to worry about my boy picking up bordatella or anything. The owners are mostly all really nice and conscientious of where their dogs are and what they’re doing. There’s plenty of toys and pools and water buckets and all the dogs seem to have a blast.

  Great for pooches

  The dog park is extra amazing. It is a great place and honestly the fees aren't that bad. There is a wide open space, plenty of foliage, ramps for active dogs, pools for cooling off, pet water fountains and toys galore. For the most part the members are nice and conscientious of their pets. Yes, some people dont abide by the rules all the time but you can and should report them so we can keep the park nice. I too had never been to a privately funded dog park but the city refuses to help dog owners with the cost so it is on us to help keep it nice. Again, the fees aren't that much for what you and your dog get out of it.

  Great Private Park

  This park is fantastic. I have been to many other (public) parks and while they were perfectly adequate, I have never been to a park I like as much as this one.

  The grounds are well maintained, there is plenty of access to water, and a variety of toys (though you may have to go fetch a few before playing with your dog).

  The one legitimate complaint I see people having with this park is that it is private. This means that out of town doggo's are out of luck. For people who live in the area though, the cost is < $4/month for a park that is better maintained than any other park I have been to. Plus, the fact that it is a private park means that I don't see nearly as many rule breakers or dog fights as I have seen in public parks.

  Life Saver

  I have been a member of this park since 2007 and it is awesome. It is a member only park but that is to ensure the safety of both dogs and their humans. With 1.8 acres of fenced off leash play area, two doggie pools, canine agility equipment and benches for humans it is the perfect spot for all to run off too much energy!!

  disappointed

  It was very disheartening to watch a dog have diarrhea right in front of his owner who did nothing to clean it up or pick it up. The owners had three dogs and were on their phones on the pavilion instead of watching their dogs, one of which was a large puppy who needed close supervision.
  How sad it is that all it takes is a few irresponsible owners to spoil a park and the experience.

  Should be city supported or sponsored and not private

  It looked great from outside the gate. I've lived in a lot of places and I've never encountered a private dog park. If you have just moved here or passing through and drive all the way out there, you are out of luck.

  The park looked really nice. The problem is that it's a members only dog park so if you're just passing through you're out of luck.

  Johnson City Dog Park

  This is a wonderful place to take your dogs for fun and exercise. Who doesn't want their dogs to play off some of that extra energy! :)
