this park has big & littler dog section. very well maintained with water shade & benches. our once or twice daily routine. all dogs & owners in small section were great
- LaurenMay 8, 2022Solid park
Nice sized area with mix of sand and grass for dogs to run and play. Bags provided and easy access to water. In the human seating area for large dogs, there was a small pool for dogs to play in. That pool was disgusting. It’s early in the season, but still pretty gross. The rest of the park is AMAZING with tons of activities for humans to participate in!

We visited at different times of day and always found other dogs for our pouch to play with. Is part of a large recreational park, so human facilities available as well. Good signage so easily located.
- MariaJun 5, 2021Lovely park
I have a little yorkie who loves this place.
it’s taken care of and to some who just moved her may think it’s not the best but it is our park. Please keep your dog’s from digging holes. I tripped and fell due to a nicely fresh dug hole next to the bench I sit at. I’m disabled and it’s a shame you let your dog tear up the park.
The people are friendly so just tell em please don’t let Fido dig holes. - RobinFeb 28, 2018Dog park not KINDERGARTEN!
Just came from here Large park closed for maintenance but small park open. Problem was there were 9 kids under the age of 10 (more kids than dogs) two under 4 and two still on the hip. Our dog is a herding dog if kids run they will be chased (and kids are always running). We don't take our dog to childs playground don't bring you child to dog park. Common sense dog park rules are NO Children under 10.

Great time and people! The dogs went a few days in a row and met up with the same pack of dogs. Perfect little run area and there’s a pond next to the park for walking the dogs after

Very nice, large grassy areas for my German shepherd to run and play. There is a “lazy dog side” and a “party dog side” We used both sides depending on my dog’s mood! There is a pool for the dogs to dip in also. Very nice.

This park initially had one big area, but now has two. They are labeled "slow" dogs and "fast" dogs. There is a walking trail that you can also take your dog on.
There are pavilions with seating on both sides. Water is available. Bathrooms are across the parking lot. There is plenty of parking nearby. You are supposed to clean up after your dog, and it seems less people do at this particular park. I think there are more tourists visiting this park, too.
I prefer to take my dog to one of the 3 other dog parks currently available across Hathaway bridge simply because people don't seem to watch their dogs as closely here. - FrankMore than a year agono shots ???
Recently moved to the area, "was" happy to find a dog park. Did take the word of the other people enjoying their dogs having a great time that everyone " would " have their pets updated on the shots. I have since invested over $ 300.00 on my pet due to kennel cough. After offering my services to the office to check shot records of those pets coming to this park. It was almost laughed at by the staff. It's very disappointing to know that they must keep the image of having this park, rather than the health of the pets that come out there. At least put a sign up " Shots MUST be updated before entering these gates ".

We travel extensively and always look for a dog park for our Dobie. We are happy with this dog park, while not really big, it's fully fenced and has fresh water in a fountain along with a hose and some kiddie pools for the dogs to cool off in.
There's a pavillion with picnic benches for the people to stay cool and sit down along with a few trees in the park. There is plenty of grass and also a sandy slightly lower area that in the rainy season probably fills up with water.
The park is popular and our Laddy found several other dogs to play with. There's lots of parking and we enjoyed visiting this park several times while here in Panama City Beach.
- AmandaMore than a year agoNot what I hoped...
Recently moved to the area and was hoping to find a dog park similar to the one I left, tons of grass, running room, and playful dogs. I found none of this at this dog park. There is a huge concave area that appears to be swamp water, barely any grass, and tons of dirt/sand. The one and only positive is that owners appear to clean up after their dogs well, you don't have to dodge dog poop. WIsh there was something more for our four legged friends...
