Mitchell's Cove Beach
Great beach has OFF LEASH hours Sunrise-10am, 4pm-sunset Between 10am and 4pm dogs must be on leash
The beach is does not have a sign stating it is Mitchell's Cove beach at this time. This is unfenced but has natural barriers -a cliff on one side and ocean on the other, no gate at the stairway. Must walk down to beach from large staircase. It will keep most dogs in but if your dog likes to climb big rocks up the cliff then you will need a leash.
Look up tide times before you plan a trip here, beach disappears during high tide and can be pretty dangerous. Low tide is much friendlier.
