Newport Beach Leashed dogs are allowed before 10:00 am and after 4:30 pm on oceanfront beaches of Newport Beach, CA. On bay-front beaches, leashed dogs are allowed before 9:00 am and after 5:00 pm. Corona Del Mar State Beach Dogs are welcome at Corona Del Mar State Beach, where they can join their owners at certain times during the day. The half-mile long sandy beach is the ideal playground for pups who love the feeling of sand under their paws. Cliffs and a rock jetty encase the sandy beach, which is popular with surfers, swimmers, and divers. Main Beach Park Main Beach Park is pet-friendly. This gorgeous stretch of sand is located right in the middle of Laguna. It offers you and Fido the perfect getaway, with stunning views across the water. You'll find boardwalks, benches and picnic areas to hang out at together. Dogs are not permitted on the beach from 9am to 6pm from June 15 through Sept. 10. Huntington State Beach Dogs are welcome on the paved surfaces at Huntington State Beach. Unfortunately, Fido can't join you on the sand at this popular beach, but there are a few paved bike paths and trails that you can get Fido's much needed steps on. The beach itself is 121 acres and the main dog-friendly path stretches along a portion of this with a view of the sea in the distance. Shaws Cove Shaws Cove is a dog-friendly beach in Laguna Beach, CA. This secluded section of the beach welcomes dogs on leashes. Please note that the hours when dogs are permitted varies based on the time of year. Between June 15th - September 10th, the hours are 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and from September 11th - June 14th, the hours are 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Parking is available along the Pacific Coast Highway and restrooms are available.
