This urban National Forest provides a wide range of recreation opportunities to visitors from around the world. You will find beaches, bike trails, camping, fishing, hiking, horse riding, picnicking, water activities, winter sports and more. The East Fork Trail is one of the more popular trails in the park at 5.5 miles long. It begins at East Fork Fire Sta. and ends at Bridge To Nowhere. The first three miles follow the rocky stream bottom and include several stream crossings. Not recommended during rainy conditions due to swift water. For this trail, ensure Fido has significant backcountry hiking experience and is comfortable swimming in a swift current.
