L.L. Stub Stewart State Park Located 30 miles west of Portland is L.L. Stub Stewart State Park where boundless hiking opportunities await you and Fido. Situated in Buxton, OR, this woodland park features rolling hills and over 25 miles of trails which are suited to any skill level. For a leisurely pace on gentle terrain, opt to follow Banks-Vernonia State Trail which is completely paved and passes through the park. Trails at Stub Stewart State Park are multi-use and frequented by hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians. Dogs must remain leashed at the park with the exception of Hilltop Day Use Area which is fenced. Wildwood Trail, Forest Park The Wildwood Trail in Forest Park is a moderately easy, 30-mile hike that will take about 2 days to complete with Fido. Veterans Park There are 2 separate and fenced dog areas. The larger one is spacious with lots of room for running & discovery. There are some shady areas and places to sit along with full-time water. The 2 areas share bags and garbage cans. The smaller fenced area is quite limited in space but is good for the smaller dogs. One side of the park is fenced with houses with a few barky dogs. If you have a rescue that that can trigger on fence fighting you may have to steer clear of that side it's not hard to do. See Details

Create A Fused Glass Plate At Home 'Create A Fused Glass Plate At Home' is a pet-friendly Airbnb Experience hosted by Charissa. Participate in this virtual workshop from the comfort of your own home with Fido. The class takes place online, but you will need to pick up your supplies from the host's studio. With your pooch curled up next to you, watch your host over Zoom provide examples of what you will be creating and teach you how heat affects glass, as well as artistic techniques to create visual effects on your plate. Your host will provide as much or little help as you need, and then discuss how to safely transport your artwork back to the studio to be fired. Projects will take 48 hours to fire.
