Lake Eola Park Although technically not a dog park, the nearly 1-mile walking path around Lake Eola in downtown Orlando, Florida is very pet-friendly. There are several dog-related events that take place at Lake Eola each year, and almost any time of the day you'll find pet owners taking their four-legged friends for a walk around the lake. Poop bag dispensers are conveniently located on the lake path so that you can clean up after your pet. In addition to the lake path, visitors can also rent swan boats to enjoy with pets up to 5 lbs. There is also an amphitheater where concerts and other events are regularly held, as well as a couple of pet-friendly restaurants next to the lake, which will allow you to dine outdoors with your pooch. You and Fido can only access this park by public ferry or private boat, so your pooch must be have their four sea legs ready. Once you're back on dry land, you can check out the eight miles of trails that weave around the island, including one that leads to Bear Tree Landing, the location of one of the largest oak trees on the Island. Sunset Paddle at The Waterfront 'Sunset Paddle at The Waterfront' is a pet-friendly Airbnb Experience hosted by Jennifer. Guests arrive at The Waterfront Restaurant on the shore of Lake Jennie Jewell, before being set up with a SUP or kayak and heading off on the water. First timers will even receive a lesson included. The experience lasts 1.5 hours and can accommodate up to 10 guests ages 5 and up. Guests should be comfortable around water. They provide life vests on boards for humans and canines.
