Dolphin Research Center

Bring your family to meet our family of dolphins and sea lions. There's no need to leave your furry family members behind since leashed or harnessed pets are welcome to join you! Spend an hour or stay all day learning about these incredible marine mammals. Dolphin Research Center, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit research and educational facility, is funded by people who visit the facility to see the dolphins and sea lions, swim with dolphins, or take part in another program, as well as by those who join the DRC family when they adopt a dolphin or enroll in one of our other membership plans. Dolphin Research Center offers several exciting presentations daily demonstrating the dolphins’ high flying athletics, dolphin education fun facts, dolphin research, new behavior training, medical behaviors, and much more. Enjoy dolphin swims and other encounters, as well as other fun chances to touch a dolphin. We also provide assistance to guests with disabilities. Marathon Dog Park

The area next to the Rotary Children’s Park (between 75th and 76th Streets Oceanside) is designated for supervised off-leash dog play with separate areas for large and small dogs. The park is open from 7:30 am until dusk daily.

Coco Plum Dog Beach

Coco Plum Beach is dog friendly! Dogs are welcome at this natural beach area with an adjacent wetland area. There are restroom facilities and a covered pavilion available. Dogs should be under voice control or leashed, and owners must clean up after their dogs.
