Verde Vineyards Verde Vineyards is a boutique winery specializing in small lot, hand crafted Bordeaux Varietals from their estate vineyards in the Santa Clara Valley. The winery hosts live music on weekends. Dogs are welcome on the covered tasting patio and grounds. Two of their wines, Sophie's Blend and Tess' Blend are named after the owners' dogs. Henry W. Coe State Park Dogs are welcome at Henry W. Coe State Park, also known as Coe Park, the largest state park in northern California made up of wild open spaces. At the park, you'll find stunning lofty ridges and steep canyons all over. There are a number of pet-friendly areas at the park to enjoy with Fido, including the Coe Ranch Campground, paved roads, and one trail that connects the Visitor Center to the parking lot off of East Dunne Avenue. Dogs are not allowed at Manzanita Point, Blue Oak Horse Camp, Poverty Flat Group Campsites, and the Hunting Hollow or Dowdy Ranch entrances. Dogs are also prohibited on all other trails at Coe Park. You can gain entrance to the park around the clock, every day of the year. See Details
Fremont Peak State Park Dogs are allowed at Fremont Peak State Park. The park has a great view of Monterey Bay, San Benito Valley, Salinas Valley, and the Santa Lucia Mountains east of Big Sur. The woodlands in the area are home to lots of different birds and animals. Fido is welcome to join you at certain communal areas at this state park, including campsites and picnic areas. Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreation Area Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreation Area is a pet-friendly destination for motorcyclists, 4-wheelers, picnickers, and campers in the Gabilan Mountains near San Jose. Fido can join you on a leash on the 5 miles of trails located at the end of Madrone camp for hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, and checking out the spring wildflowers. As well as these five miles of trails, there are 13 miles of dog-friendly trails at the Mudstone Ranch, a non-motorized section of the park. The park is open from October 1st through May 31st.
