The Butchart Gardens The Butchart Gardens welcome well-behaved, leashed pets. Pets must be on short leashes. If you forget your leash, please stop by the Visitor Information Centre where you may borrow one. Doggie cleanup bags are available. Five convenient pet water fountains are located throughout the park and are marked on the map of The Butchart Gardens. Brackley Drive-In Theatre Bring Fido to a film at the Brackley Drive-In Theatre! Leashed dogs are allowed to join their owners at the Theatre, as long as they clean up after them. Shows start at dusk, and owners should arrive around 8:30pm. The Drive-In is a double bill, and visitors have the option of watching one movie or both. Bow Valley SUP Surf Bow Valley SUP Surf is dog-friendly. They operate tours on Banff’s Two Jack Lake, surrounded by view of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade. They offer introductory classes with a Paddle Canada certified guide. Alternatively, you and your pooch can join one of the morning tours on alternate mornings and there’s also a sunset tour on Friday evenings, too. The tours last 1-1.5 hours and some of the proceeds go towards getting indigenous children out on the water. The introductory classes are $75. All of the tours are $69 and Fido floats for free. Banff Canoe Club SUP with your pup in the beautiful Alberta resort city of Banff. This pet-friendly activity is a great way to explore the picturesque sights around the lakes of Banff. You can join a tour or rent your own private SUP to explore without a guide. Dogs must be well-behaved and should be equipped with their own doggy life vest, as none are provided. SUP rentals include life jackets and boards within the price. Rentals vary depending on whether you are a member and how long you wish to rent the SUP for. Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park is a vast dog-friendly park that spans the South East corner of Alberta and the South West corner of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The park is home to the Trans Canada Trail that takes in the sights of the area, and while you're hiking you may even spot some other wildlife, including white tail deer, moose, wild turkey, and elk.
