Mount Tom State Reservation
Dogs are welcome to join their owners at Mount Tom State Reservation. Located just a stone's throw away from downtown Holyoke, this stunning park spans 2,161 acres of trees and rolling hills. There are 22 miles of trails to explore with your pooch, some of which lead to brilliant views of the Pioneer Valley in west-central Massachusetts. You are invited to bring your pooch with you to enjoy the many trails and picnic areas around the park, as long as they are on a leash and all mess is cleaned up after them. Mount Tom State Reservation is open every day of the week from sunrise to sunset.

Leashed dogs can join you at Doe Orchards, a pet-friendly, you-pick orchard in Harvard, MA, with 25 acres of apples, 2 acres of blueberries and raspberries, and 10 acres of cut-your-own Christmas trees.
