Putt'in 4 Paws Adventure Golf & Driving Range is owned and operated by Sanilac County Humane Society, and all profits from Fido’s round go straight to the organization to help other dogs find their forever homes. Bring your furry best friend along with you to admire the waterfall, river and floral arrangements that make this 18-hole course for a good cause the ideal setting for a round with your Retriever. Swing big at the driving range afterward and grab a snack from the coffee shop before you head home to frame your scorecard.

Bask in views of Lake Huron from the deck of the lakefront Lexington escape, a pet-friendly vacation rental with hardwood floors and access to the water just beyond the back door.

People and pups planning a trip to the pseudo-Bavarian town of Helen can add Alpine Mini Golf to the itinerary. Decorated with lovely floral displays, this 18-hole alpine-themed miniature golf course in downtown Alpine Helen has a big sign to let dogs know they’re welcome at the entrance and even a place at each hole to hook your dog’s leash, so you don’t hook your shot. The course features long shots, bridges and a variety of obstacles to master.

Hampton Inn Helen provides an affordable place to rest up after a few rounds of miniature golf. The green space outside may look like the fairway, but dogs are welcome to go to the bathroom here.
