Pet Friendly Tumalo Creek Kayak & Canoe
Tumalo Creek Kayak & Canoe Enjoy some time with Fido on the Deschutes River with a dog-friendly rental from Tumalo Creek Kayak & Canoe in Bend, OR. Dogs are welcome to join the fun on kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. If you want a laid-back river trip, enjoy a tubing trip on the river. Tubes have handles and netting so neither you nor Fido will fall through, although it is still a good idea to make sure Fido is wearing a PFD. All rentals have a minimum two-hour rental period. The Bend store is open year round, and the Sunriver store is open from April to September. If you’re renting from the Sunriver location, you must be able to transport your own rental to the river as dogs are not allowed on the shuttle. Kayak rentals start at $40 per person for two hours. Spinreel Dune Buggy & ATV Rental If you are looking to explore the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Center with Fido, Spinreel Dune Buggy & ATV Rental in North Bend has pet-friendly dune buggies. Small pets must be able to be held in your lap. Larger pets must be able to be controlled in a seat by themselves. Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad The Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad is pet-friendly. Passengers bringing their dogs along for the ride are asked to sit in the open-top section of the train. The train is a 46-mile stretch of track between the Tillamook Airport and the railroad siding of Enright. Pets ride for free! You can catch the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad from the Garibaldi Train Depot at 306 American Avenue in Garibaldi; the Rockaway Beach Depot at 125 Oregon Coast Hwy in Rockaway Beach; or the Wheeler Depot at 580 Marine Drive in Wheeler. Dogs and their families should book tickets in the open cars, not the dinner cars where food is served. During the regular season beginning in late May, the steam locomotives run every day of the week. See Details

Haystack Rock Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach, is a gorgeous designated bird and marine sanctuary rising 235 feet above the sand and sea. Leash up Fido and take a walk around the tide pools, where you will see a variety of marine life. Haystack Rock itself is home to cormorants, seagulls, and tufted puffins. Although dogs are permitted to be off leash on the beach, they must be leashed around Haystack Rock due to its status as a bird and marine sanctuary. See Details
Kiyokawa Family Orchards Kiyokawa Family Orchards is dog-friendly. Located at the foothills of Mt. Hood, this orchard is 125-acres and is home to 90 different varieties of apples and pears. Well-behaved pups wearing a leash are welcome to enjoy the large open field at this location. The only areas that Fido is prohibited to go is inside the fruit stand and anywhere with fruit on display.
