Family Drive-In Theatre Pet Friendly drive-in movie theatre. 2 screens, shows first run movies and double/triple features. Dogs get biscuits or treats at the theatre ticketbooth when they come with their families to attend a movie. Theatre holds pet events when movies are dog/cat oriented. (For example a Bark For Life fund raiser for the American Cancer Society was held during the movie: Cats and Dogs 2, rencently). Keswick Winery Keswick Vineyards & Winery is a family owned and operated winery located just east of Charlottesville, VA. Leashed pets are welcome everywhere on grounds and there is a fenced-in dog park for off leash play. They also host weekly Yappy Hours events to benefit local animal rescue groups where adoptable animals are brought out to the winery to meet new families and a portion of the proceeds from wine sales are donated to the visiting rescue group. James Madison's Montpelier The grounds at James Madison's Montpelier are dog friendly! There are over 9 miles of walking trails in forested and open terrain, all of which are free for visitors. Pack a lunch and have a picnic with Fido at one of the tables or under the shade of one of the historic trees. If you don't want to pack lunch, Montpelier has an excellent cafe with dog-friendly outdoor seating options. During the summer and fall, leashed dogs are welcome to join you on one of the outdoor walking tours, too. Dogs are not allowed inside the home. See Details

Beliveau Farm Winery Beliveau Farm Winery is pet-friendly. Dogs are not allowed inside the buildings but are welcome anywhere else throughout the 165 acre property, on a leash. Their wines are handcrafted, produced, and bottled on-site. The farm also has its own gluten-free brewery. You can enjoy a beer onsite or take a growler to go. The winery has plenty of hiking trails for walking, a lavender farm, stocked pond, and picnicking spots. Outside food is not allowed but the farm offers a menu of homemade pizzas, cheese and charcuterie plates and other picnic foods for purchase. See Details
Sly Clyde Ciderworks Dogs are welcome at Sly Clyde Ciderworks, where they make a variety of different hard cider from apples picked in West Virginia. The cider varies from classic flavors to blackberry mint, gin-infused, Colonial style, and even habanero rosemary. You are welcome to bring Fido with you to sit inside or out as no food is prepared on the premises. If you do get hungry, Sly Clyde Ciderworks have partnered up with a number of food trucks from the area to feed their hungry guests while they enjoy their beverages.
