Over millions of years, the stunning gorges and views that we now see were carved into the rock by Russell Fork. The waterways are surrounded by stunning forests of fern and a variety of other trees that give the area an array of colors during fall. Fido is welcome to join you on a leash under six feet in length on the many trails around the park, including the Laurel Branch Trail that weaves through hardwood forests from Laurel Lake to Grassy Creek; and Prospector's Trail that will take you around the cliffs of the area. Maggie Malick Wine Caves Maggie Malick Wine Caves is a dog-friendly winery in Purcellville, VA. This female-owned, boutique winery in Northern Virginia is award-winning. They produce lovely wines on 215 rolling acres in the shadow of Short Hill Mountain in the Between the Hills Valley, near Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. They produce an amazing 15 different varieties of wine and Sangria. There is no fee to explore the outdoor areas of the museum, as long as owners clean up after their pets.
