Sunshine Farm and Garden In the past 32 years we've managed to amass a diverse collection of well over 10,000 different, hardy to zone 5 perennials, bulbs, trees and shrubs from every corner of the Earth on our 60-acre mountain top at 3000 feet in beautiful Greenbrier County WV. The Display Gardens were completely redesigned by Mr. Matthew Bishop of Devon England in 1993 and several thousand new plants were planted in the existing 24-year-old garden. Pet Friendly Mothman Museum
Mothman Museum Mothman Museum in Point Pleasant is the World's Only Mothman Museum, surprisingly. Home of the original Mothman sightings, this Point Pleasant museum has the largest collection of the props from the Mothman Prophecies. Leashed dogs of any size are welcome at the Mothman Museum. Mothman Museum is open Monday through Thursday from 10am to 5pm, Friday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. See Details
TA Wheeling This gas station has a full-service restaurant open 24 hours, Country Pride, and a Travel Store. This location also has a dedicated area for pets that need some exercise or a rest break. Hilltop Drive-In Theater Originally opened in 1950, the Hilltop Drive-In Theater is dog-friendly! Leashed dogs are permitted as long as they do not distract people, are not aggressive, and don't make a mess. Human visitors are required to clean up after their pets. The museum is dedicated to the legend of the Flatwoods Monster and has been featured in such programs as Small Town Monster’s, The Flatwoods Monster: a Legacy of Fear, America’s Got Aliens (Hong Kong), Nerdist’s Bizarre States, and the Unseen World. Blennerhassett Island State Park Explore the historical island of Blennerhassett Island State Park. Its reconstructed mansion offers visitors a glimpse of life on a colonial plantation. Volunteers wearing period-accurate costumes conduct tours through the mansion. Dogs are not allowed inside any buildings, but self-guided walking tours are available. Blennerhassett Island is open from the first of May until the middle of November each year. While touring the park, visitors should allow at least three hours for a complete tour. This includes the sternwheeler ride to and from the island. The park is only accessible by the ferry. Dogs are welcome to ride the ferry to the island at no charge for pups. See Details
